Location: On Salt Creek in Willamette National Forest
Campsites, facilities: There are 25 sites tents, trailers, or RVs up to 20 feet long. Picnic tables and fire grills are provided. There is no pumped water but vault and flush toilets are available. Leashed pets are permitted.

Reservations, fees: No reservations are accepted. Sites are $12 per night, plus $4 per additional vehicle. The campground is open from mid-May to mid-September.

Directions: From Interstate 5 south of Eugene, drive 45 miles southeast on Highway 58 to the campground.

Trip notes: This campground is set along Salt Creek at 2,000 feet. With its proximity to the highway and easy access to the creek, it's a decent layover spot. Volleyball and good fishing are among the highlights, and McCredie Hot Springs is half a mile away.
