Location:
On Crescent Lake in Deschutes National Forest
Campsites, facilities: There are about 15 sites in an area
for dispersed camping for tents, trailers, or RVs up to 22 feet
long. Picnic tables, firewood and fire grills are provided. Vault
toilets are available but there is no piped water. Boat launching
facilities and docks are located a mile away at Spring Campground.
Leashed pets are permitted.
Reservations, fees: No reservations are accepted. There is
no fee. The campground is open from May to late October.

Directions: From Interstate five south of Eugene, turn east
on Highway 58 and drive approximately 70 miles to the town of Crescent
Lake. Drive 11 miles southwest on Forest Service road 60, then one
mile on Forest Service Road 280 to the campground.
Trip notes: This campground is on the southern shore of Crescent
Lake, where swimming, and boating are among the summer pastimes.
A number of trails from nearby Windy-Oldenburg Trailhead provide
access to lakes in the Diamond Peak Wilderness and Oregon Cascades
recreation Area. A parking area for snowmobiles and cross-country
skiers is at the north end of the lake.
