Location:
Near Cultus Lake in Deschutes National Forest
Campsites, facilities: There are 11 sites for tents, trailers
or RVs of any length. Picnic tables, fire grills, and four-horse
corrals are provided. Hand-pumped water, vault toilets, and a corral
are available. Leashed pets are permitted.
Reservations, fees: No reservations are accepted. Sites are
$5 per night, plus $3-$5 per additional vehicle. The campground
is open from June to October.

Directions: From Interstate 5 south of Eugene, drive 73 miles
southeast on Highway 58. Turn east on County Road 61. Drive three
miles, then continue north on Cascade Lakes Highway (Highway 46)
for approximately 27 miles to Forest Service Road 4630. Turn left
and travel a quarter mile to the campground.
Trip notes: This campground is about one mile from Cultus
Lake, near many trails that provide access to backcountry lakes.
The Pacific Crest Trail passes about 10 miles from the camp, making
this a good base camp for a backpacking trip.
