Location: On Cultus Lake in Deschutes National Forest

Campsites, facilities: There are 10 sites for tents, trailers, and RVs up to 22 feet long. Picnic tables and fire grills are provided. Piped water and vault toilets are available. Boat docks and launching facilities are available. Leashed pets are permitted.

Reservations, fees: No reservations are accepted. Sites are $5 per night, plus $3-$5 per additional vehicle. The campground is open from late May to late September.

Directions: From Interstate 5 south of Eugene, drive 73 miles southeast on Highway 58. Turn east on County Road 61. Drive three miles, then continue north on Cascade Lakes Highway (Highway 46) for approximately 26 miles to Forest Road 4635, go one-half mile to FR 4630, turn left and drive 1.5 miles to Forest Service Road 600, then turn left and travel 1 mile to the campground.

Trip notes: This camp along the east shore of Little Cultus Lake has campsites that aren't clearly marked. It's a popular spot for swimming, fishing, boating and hiking. Nearby trails access numerous backcountry lakes, and the Pacific Crest Trail passes about six miles west of the camp.
