Location:
On Hosmer Lake in Deshcutes National Forest
Campsites, facilities: There are 15 sites for tents, trailers
or RVs up to 22 feet long. Picnic tables and fire grills are available.
Vault toilets and hand-pumped water are provided. Boat launching
facilities are nearby. Leashed pets are permitted.
Reservations, fees: No reservations accepted. Sites are $5
per night, plus $3-$5 per additional vehicle. The campground is
open from late May to late September.

Directions: From Interstate 5 south of Eugene, drive 73 miles
southeast on Highway 58. Turn east on County Road 61. Drive three
miles, then continue north on Cascade Lakes Highway (Highway 46)
for approximately 36 miles to Forest Service Road 4625, then drive
northeast 3 miles to the campground.
Trip notes: This quiet campground is on the shore of Hosmer
Lake, which is stocked with brown trout and Atlantic salmon and
reserved for catch-and release fly-fishing only. The lake is ideal
for canoeing. You'll get pristine, quality angling experience.
