Location:
On North Twin Lake in Deschutes National Forest
Campsites, facilities: There are 10 sites for tents, trailers,
or RVs up to 22 feet long. Picnic tables and fire grills are provided.
There is no piped water and vault toilets are available. Boat docks,
launching facilities and rentals are nearby. Leashed pets are allowed.
Reservations, fees: No reservations accepted. Sites are $5
per night, plus $3-$5 per additional vehicle. The campground is
open from June to late September, weather permitting.

Directions: From Interstate 5 south of Eugene, drive 73 miles
southeast on Highway 58. Turn east on County Road 61. Drive three
miles, then continue north on Cascade Lakes Highway (Highway 46)
for 18 miles then turn east on County Road 42. Travel five miles,
turn south on Forest Service Road 4260, and drive one-half mile
to the campground.
Trip notes: This campground on the shore of North Twin Lake
is popular weekend spot for families. It's small and fairly primitive,
but has lake access and a pretty setting. Only boats without motors
permitted.
