Location:
On Odell Lake in Deschutes National Forest
Campsites, facilities: There are 22 sites for tents, trailers,
or RVs up to 22 feet long. Picnic tables, firewood and fire grills
are provided. Vault toilets are available but piped water is not.
Leashed pets are permitted.
Reservations, fees: No reservations accepted. Sites are $5
per night, plus $3 for additional vehicles. The campground is open
from mid-May to late September.

Directions: From Interstate five south of Eugene, turn east
on Highway 58 to Odell Lake. At the east end of the lake, take Forest
Service Road 680 and drive 400 yards to the camp.
Trip notes: You can fish, swim and hike at this campground
along the east shore of Odell Lake. A trail from the nearby Crater
Buttes trailhead heads southwest into the Diamond Peak Wilderness
and provides access to several small lakes in the backcountry. Boat
docks, launching facilities and rentals are nearby at the Odell
Lake Lodge.
