Location: On the Crane Prairie Reservoir in Deschutes National Forest

Campsites, facilities: There are 17 sites for tents, trailers or RVs up to 30 feet long. Picnic tables and fire grills are provided. Hand-pumped water, a fish cleaning station and vault toilets are available. Boat launching facilities are on site and boat docks are nearby. Leashed pets are permitted.

Reservations, fees: No reservations are accepted. Sites are $8 per night, plus $3 per additional vehicle. The campground is open from mid-May to October.

Directions: From Interstate 5 south of Eugene, drive 73 miles southeast on Highway 58. Turn east on County Road 61. Drive three miles, then continue north on Cascade Lakes Highway (Highway 46) for approximately 21 miles to the campground.

Trip notes: This campground along the west shore of Crane Prairie Reservoir is an alternative to Quinn River.
