Location:
On Salmon Creek in Willamette National Forest
Campsites, facilities: There are 14 sites for tents, trailers,
and RVs up to 24 feet long. Picnic tables and fire grills are provided.
Hand-pumped water and vault toilets are available. A store, a café,
a Laundromat, and ice are available witin five miles. Leashed pets
are permitted.
Reservations, fees: No reservations are accepted. Sites are
$10-$12 per night, plus $4 for each additional vehicle. The campground
is open from late April to mid-October.

Directions:
From Interstate 5 south of Eugene, take exit 188 and drive 35 miles
southeast on Highway 58 to Oakridge. Turn left and drive 3.5 miles
northeast on Forest Service Road 24 (Salmon Creek Road) to the campground.
Trip notes: This pretty campground along the banks of Salmon
Creek at an elevation of 1,500 feet is just far enough from Highway
58 t be missed by most campers. Highlights include sunny and shaded
sites and easy access, plus wild thimbleberries and hazelnuts to
pick in the summer. The camp is adjacent to Salmon Creek Falls.
