Location: On the Willamette River in Willamette National Forest

Campsites, facilities: There are 20 sites for tents, trailers, or RVs up to 22 feet long. Picnic tables and fire grills are provided. Vault and flush toilets are available. Some of the facilities are wheelchair accessible. A boat launch is nearby on Hills Creek Reservoir. Leashed pets are permitted.

Reservations, fees: No reservations are accepted. Sites are $10 per night, plus $4 per additional vehicle. The campground is open May through September.

Directions: From Interstate 5 south of Eugene, drive 38 miles southeast on Highway 58 (two miles past Oakridge), then one-half mile on County Road 360. Then drive 11 miles south on Forest Service Road 21.

Trip notes: This peaceful campground is in a forest of old-growth trees along the Middle Fork of the Willamette River, just south of Hills Creek Reservoir at the trailhead for the Middle Fork Trail.
