Location:
On Crescent Lake in Deschutes National Forest
Campsites, facilities: There are three group campsites for
30-40 campers each. Flush toilets, showers, picnic tables, fireplaces,
and a group shelter that accommodates 50 campers are available.
Facilities are wheelchair accessible. Leashed pets are permitted.
Reservations, fees: Reservations are required; phone (877)
444-6777 or access the website: www.reserveusa.com ($8.65 reservation
fee). Rates are $65 per night for Site A (the most accessible) and
$85 per night for Sites B and C. Site B is the most difficult to
access and only tents are advised; Site C is best for RVs. The group
shelter fee is $25 per day. The campground is generally open from
Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Directions: From Interstate five south of Eugene, turn east
on Highway 58 and drive about 70 miles to the town of Crescent Lake.
Turn west on Forest Service Road 60 and go one mile. Go south on
Forest Service Road 6005 and drive one more mile to the campground.
Trip notes: This is a new camp on Crescent Lake with trails
to day-use beaches.
