Location:
On South Twin Lake in Deschutes National Forest
Campsites, facilities: There are 24 sites for tents, trailers,
or RVs up to 22 feet long. Picnic tables and fire grills are provided.
Vault toilets and piped water are available. Boat docks, launching
facilities, boat rentals, showers and laundry facilities are nearby.
Leashed pets are allowed.
Reservations, fees: No reservations are accepted. Sites are
$12 per night, plus $5 per additional vehicle. The campground is
open from mid-April through October, weather permitting.

Directions: From Interstate 5 south of Eugene, drive 73 miles
southeast on Highway 58. Turn east on County Road 61. Drive three
miles, then continue north on Cascade Lakes Highway (Highway 46)
for 18 miles then turn east on County Road 42. Go five miles to
Forest Service Road 4260, then turn south and drive 1.5 miles to
the campground.
Trip notes: This campground is on the shore of South Twin
Lake, a popular spot for fishing, swimming and boating (non-motorized
only).
