Location: On Timpanogas Lake in Willamette National Forest

Campsites, facilities: There are 11 sites for tents, trailers, or RVs up to 21 feet long. Picnic tables, firewood and fire grills are provided. Vault toilets and hand-pumped water are available. Boat docks are nearby but boats with motors are not allowed. Leashed pets are permitted.

Reservations, fees: No reservations accepted. Sites are $6 per night, plus $3 for additional vehicles. The camp is open from mid-June through mid-October.

Directions: From Interstate five south of Eugene, turn east on Highway 58 and drive about 38 miles. Drive one-half mile to County Road 360. Turn southeast on Forest Service Road 21 and drive 38 miles to the campground.

Trip notes: This remote campground is on the shore of Timpanogas Lake in the Oregon Cascades Recreation Area. A trailhead adjacent to camp provides access into the backcountry. A hike-in campground located about two mile away at Indigo Lake has five primitive sites and pit toilets.
