drive six miles southeast, then continue 3.5 miles on Forest Service

A little inside knowledge: On the map, Lookout Point Reservoir appears
to be about three miles away, but to get there, you have to drive

hiking option is just downstream from the campground on Forest Service
Road 1802-150. Be cautious - there is poison oak at the top of the
ridge.
