Trail
Description:
|
The
trail begins with a gradual ascent through a high elevation
forest of silver fir, mountain hemlock and white pine. Dwarf
huckleberry is the predominate ground on this pumice soil. This
secluded lake has fair to good fishing. |

Access:

Proceed
2 miles east from Oakridge to Kitson Springs and turn right.
Proceed .5 miles to the junction of Forest Road 21. Turn right
and follow 21 for 32 miles to 2154 and turn left. Continue on
road 2154 for 12 miles to Timpanogas Lake Campground. Follow
the spur road in the campground to the trailhead. |
