Camping, facilities: No camping available. Dexter Lake provides a picnic area, restrooms, a large parking area, and boat access with a dock. There is access to Elijah bristow by way of horse- and hiking trails. An 18-hole disc golf course is open in the park. No drinking water available.

Directions: Drive southeast on Highway 58 for 11 miles. Look for the state park shield and turn left at the sign.

Trip notes: Plenty of wide open space for activities. If you're one for fishing, there is a good spot on the river side of the dam.
