Camping,
facilities: Camping
is not available. Lowell has a reservable group picnic area(holds
150 people), restrooms, a walking trail, and a waterfront. There
is also boat access and a marina.
Reservations,
fees: No entrance fee. Reservations for group picnic area is
$35 for the first 50 people, and $.80 per person after that. Lowell
Park is open year-round

Directions:
Drive southeast on Highway 58 for 13 miles. Turn left on to
Jasper Lowel Rd and drive 1 mile. Turn left Main St, then right
on Moss St. Turn left on Pengra Rd. After about 1 mile, look for
the state park shield.
Trip
notes: Lowell provides good swimming and boating opportunities
during the summer. Also, in late spring to late summer, ducks and
geese populate the shores. Be sure to bring some bread!
