Crescent Lake Area

The most popular spot for sno-mobiling along highway 58 is the Crescent Lake area. There are two sno-parks with groomed trails - Crescent Lake Junction sno-park and Crescent Lake sno-park.

Directions: Crescent Lake is approximately 75 miles southeast of the Eugene-Springfield area. From Eugene, head south on I-5 to exit 188A. After 0.3 miles, veer left at the fork to highway 58. Drive down highway 58, three miles south of Odell Lake, and take the Forest Rd. 60 turnoff. There are signs for both sno-parks - Crescent Lake sno-park is one mile after the turn onto Forest Road 60, and Crescent Lake Junction sno-park is approximately two miles after the turn onto 60.

Salt Creek Falls

A smaller sno-park is located three miles east of Salt Creek Falls. This sno-park is not groomed, resulting in the snow sometimes being much heavier than at Crescent Lake.

Directions: From Eugene, head south on I-5 to exit 188A. After 0.3 miles, veer left at the fork to highway 58. Drive down highway 58 three miles past Salt Creek Falls. There is a sign for the snow park.
