Cabins - Camping - Marina
Shelter Cove Resort is located on the Western
Shore of Odell Lake, near the Willamette Pass sumit. Odell Lake
is 6 miles long and rewards its visitors with world famous Kokanee,
trophy Mackinaw and Rainbow fishing. Miles of pristine wilderness
trails await hikers in the Diamond Peak Wilderness.
Spectacular wildflowers abound and wildlife such
as bald eagles, great blue heron, osprey, wol, rabbit otter, raccoon
and deer and elk make their home in these forest. Fall spawning
of land-locked salmon is an experience not soon forgotten. This
occurs from September to October, your children will love it!
The 12 Cabins are rustic and comfortably furnished with
complete kitchens, towels and bedding and accomodate 2 to 10 persons.
Five of the structures are log, one being more than 80 years old.
All have modern facilities and two sources of heat. Wood is provided
for the three with wood-burning stoves to be used in-side. All are
nestled among fir trees along the south shore of the lake.
There are 66 Campsites available, most nestled in the trees
with picnic table and electricity. Water, showers, dumpstations,
laundry and propane available.
The Marina provides 115 boat moorages, boat rentals 14'
to 21' and gas on the dock.
The General Store provides soft and hot drinks, espresso,
beer and wine, non-perishable groceries, tackle and registration...plus
fishing licenses.
